Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Berger Web Co ("I", "me") collects through bergerwebco.com, how it's used, and the choices you have. The short version: I only collect what you send me, I use it to reply to you, and I never sell it.
What I collect
- What you type into the quote form: your project description, business name and type, current website, timeline, name, phone number, email, contact preference and any notes.
- Messages you send me by email, text or phone.
- Basic technical data that every web server receives, like your IP address and browser type, kept by my hosting provider for security and reliability.
I don't use analytics trackers, advertising pixels or tracking cookies on this site.
How I use it
- To send you a quote and contact you about your project, by the method you choose (text, call or email).
- To build, launch and support your website if you hire me.
- To keep records needed for invoices and taxes.
I won't add you to a mailing list or send marketing messages without your permission.
Who I share it with
I don't sell or rent your information. It's handled only by the services that run this business:
- Netlify, which hosts this site and receives form submissions.
- Google Workspace, for my business email.
- Payment processors you choose (card processor, Zelle or Venmo) when you pay an invoice.
I may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Cookies and third-party content
This site doesn't set cookies. Fonts, videos and images are served from bergerwebco.com itself, so your browser doesn't contact Google or any other third party when you visit.
How long I keep it
Quote requests that don't turn into a project are deleted within 12 months. Client records are kept as long as needed for the project and for tax purposes, then deleted.
Your choices
- See, correct or delete your data: email gavin@bergerwebco.com and I'll handle it within 30 days.
- Stop messages: reply STOP to any text, or reply to any email asking me to stop, and I will.
Children
This site is for business owners and isn't directed at children. I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent me information, email me and I'll delete it.
Security
The site runs over HTTPS, and form submissions are stored with my hosting provider rather than in email attachments. No method is 100% secure, but I take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Changes
If this policy changes, I'll update the date at the top of this page.
